The New England Council hosted an installment of their “New England Innovates” series, hosted at the UMass Club on October 31, 2024. This event highlighted regional innovation in the robotics sector, and explored challenges and opportunities for continued growth in this burgeoning field. The program begin with keynote remarks from U.S. Representative Jim McGovern (D-MA), the Co-Chair of the Congressional Robotics Caucus. Following the Congressman’s remarks, Tom Ryden, Executive Director of MassRobotics, moderated a panel discussion featuring representatives of several New England Council members who are leading the way in the development of robotics technologies. Panelists included:
