Buckberrough cofounded Glidance in 2023 and created a device called Glide to help individuals who are visually impaired. Glide uses radar and cameras to map the space in front of someone, make sense of it and safely guide the person to their destination. Glide prototypes have been tested by more than 350 blind and visually impaired individuals. Glidance has raised $1.5 million.
