Our partner maxon recently visited MassRobotics, the leading hub for robotics innovation, and it was an incredible experience! 

During the event, we had the privilege of learning from industry experts and witnessing groundbreaking technology in action.

Here’s a recap of what went down:

  • Introduction to MassRobotics: Juan Necochea, Director of Strategic Partnerships at MassRobotics, provided an in-depth overview of our organization’s pivotal role in shaping the future of robotics. We explored how MassRobotics fosters collaboration, innovation, and growth within the industry.
  •  Expert Guest Speaker: We were honored to have Chris Jones, CTO of iRobot, share his invaluable insights on the latest robotics trends in 2023. His knowledge gave us a deep understanding of the emerging technologies and developments that will shape the robotics landscape.
  • Startup Demos: The event showcased great demos from our resident startups that are pushing the boundaries of robotics:
  • URBX, a third-party logistics company specializing in highly flexible order fulfillment and last-mile delivery for e-commerce businesses, demonstrated their innovative solutions.
  • NeXtera Robotics, founded by a team of MIT engineers, wowed us with their construction automation robots. Their robots offer construction site as-built laser scanning, floor layout painting, and deployable prefab mini-factories for floors and walls, revolutionizing the construction industry.
  •  Cleo Robotics presented its groundbreaking indoor drone technology. These compact, safe, and power-efficient drones have the potential to transform industries such as law enforcement, surveying, security, and warehousing.
  •  Phuc Labs introduced us to their patent-pending technology that represents a digital way to vacuum things out of the water without traditional analog methods. Using AI and the 3rd force of nature – information, they are pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in this field.
