The MassTLC/MassRobotics/MassMEP team under the Advanced Manufacturing Futures Fund Program grant, funded by MassDevelopment, held our final event on 7 June 2017 at MassRobotics in Boston.
The goal of the grant has been to help hardware and mechanical/electrical device start-ups and scale-ups grow and commercialize their products by connecting them with the local manufacturers and supply chain – turning great ideas into great products Made in Massachusetts.
This final event’s goals were to provide awareness and education to manufacturers on the potential use of automation and new technology (including robotic) to enhance their productivity and introduce them to companies that may be able to provide such products and services.
Peter Russo, Director Growth & Innovation at MassMEP, led the event with over 20 local medium to small manufacturers in attendance. These manufactures learned about new solutions to streamline activities for advancing accuracy & throughput. These solutions included a wide range of technologies from the Internet of Things to Manipulation and Automation from both established companies and startups.

Following short presentations, the audience proceeded to the Lab space where they were able to meet one-on-one with each presenter for further discussion.
