Proper urban sanitation is a costly, challenging, and labor-intensive endeavor and it is something that we face every day in Philadelphia as well as in cities all over the globe. Most large-scale automated tools for litter removal are too big to fit into pedestrian-centric areas, which means that these areas must still be cleaned by hand, increasing costs. Tergeo Tech addresses this problem by providing a semi-autonomous robot based on a modular and compartmentalized design. Our first robotic product can support litter removal by following a worker that removes litter from unreachable places that the robot then sweeps up, collects, and stores internally. Our modular design makes our robots easy to customize to fit various additional scenarios and customer needs with minimal changes in a cost-effective manner. This allows existing work forces to be more effective for minimal increases in operating costs.

Southie Autonomy

Focus: Hardware or Software, Software. While robotics is a highly integrated hardware and software system, Southie focuses on the software side of robots as this is where the bulk of the adoption gaps can be solved. Today’s hardware is highly optimized and robust, but it requires so much NRE to get working. So, Southie aims to reduce the complexity and skill required to deploy and changeover robots, creating a new way to see ROI on robots. A multi-purpose, no-code robotic system that line operators can use and reuse. included every autonomous system you could think of, from underwater robots to aerial drones to joint R&D with MIT and Harvard to advance autonomous mobile manipulation. As engineers we built autonomous systems that would satisfy the user’s mission and the user knew what they wanted the system to do, but there was a disconnect in how the user directed and understood what the system was doing. Basically, there was a fundamental gap that we later learned was an adoption gap between user and robotic system. It turns out that you can use that same exact lens to look at the industrial robotics sector and you’ll find the same exact problem. There is a huge gap between the people who want to use robots (e.g. warehouse workers and operators) and who can actually deploy robotic systems (e.g. automation engineers). So, Southie has created a new way for humans and robots to talk to other (i.e. at the task level instead of instructions). The result is we’ve bridged the gap by letting operations users task robots at the operational level, instead of at the engineering level.

Sastra Robotics

We design & manufacture Robotic Systems & Solutions with a specialised focus on Intelligent Test Automation Tools. We serve OEMs, & Tier1’s (System Integrators) for validating their Human Machine Interfaces in various products such as vehicle infotainment systems, smart gadgets, consumer electronics smart equipment or mission-critical medical & avionics devices using our Robotics Automation Framework (RAF).

Robotic Automation Framework (RAF) is an advanced method of validating HIL* testing of IVI systems using Robotics, AI & Analytics. RAF is a highly customizable robotics solution that can easily be integrated into any existing testing framework or operated as an entirely independent system. Our QUACO product family offers various robotic hardware options to replicate real-world human actions and a cloud-based intelligent software toolkit that will help us with a standardized validation & data management approach throughout the product lifecycle stages.

We provide highly customisable robotics solutions for the various product lifecycles such as R&D, production, aftermarket, etc. Our extended engineering support team is currently offering testing equipment, test experts as well testing services or managed test facility lab as a service in various geographical locations such as USA, India, Mexico, France, the UK & Germany. We have over 9 years of experience in delivering innovative & dependable solutions in various industry verticals such as Automotive infotainment, Smart consumer electronics, Aviation, Medical, etc.

Quick Service Restaurants are facing labor shortages and are resorting to excessively raising wages and compensations to keep their stores afloat. The average wage of production and nonsupervisory employees has risen sharply, reaching an average of $19, far exceeding the minimum wage. As a result, the profit margin of QSRs, which had already been low, is dropping steeply.

Our intelligent robotic kitchen is fundamentally and cost-effectively solving this problem by supplying restaurants faced with a shortage of manpower with the required labor. Additionally, with the robotic kitchen doing the demanding and dangerous work in the kitchen, even elderly workers can be actively hired for the remaining tasks like refilling ingredients.
(FACTS) – Quick Service Restaurants (QSR), which account for more than a third of restaurants in the US, have increased by 40% over the past 20 years. However, the fast food industry, which has considerably relied on teenagers for its entry-level jobs with minimum hourly wages, is now finding a shortage of labor. The supply of young workers is decreasing, and the reasons are as follows: lower fertility rates and the pursuit of high-salary jobs due to increased emphasis on education. This eventually cascaded to 1.5 million unfilled job openings at restaurants and hotels, double the number a year earlier.

Acumino

Acumino means ‘to build skills or acumen’, and that perfectly captures what we do. Our focus has been to make the AI training of robots to perform tasks in very diverse environments (homes, warehouses, hospitals, businesses, etc.) faster, safer, more accurate, more scalable, and more cost effective than any method currently used. Our solution meets each and every one of those goals.

Our new approach to robotic training come from our taking a different approach. Our two founders have decades of experience in training data for complex AI systems for large tech companies such as Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Apple, Google and others – and recognized early on that robotic training at scale was largely an unsolved problem. Three years ago, they joined forces with one of the top researchers in robotic grasping and manipulation and developed a hybrid solution that uses robotic technology and human-in-the-loop strategies to develop a solution that is orders of magnitude faster and cost efficient than training methods currently used.

Gardin

To make nutritious food production sustainable and affordable. For us and the planet. From ‘it looks good’ to ‘it is good’. We combine proprietary remote optical phenotyping and machine learning to redefine the standards of quality produce. We want to help the planet heal and secure sustainable and nutritious food production for today and future generations.

Parrots Inc.

For so many people (neurological conditions like ALS, their field of vision, their ability to communicate, can be severely limited. Polly is their AI-enhanced assistive parrot, perched on their wheelchair or bedside, giving them a 360-degree field of vision, enhancing their ability to communicate, and uplifting their sense of independence. All at a fraction of the cost of current cumbersome dehumanizing solutions. At Parrots, we’re passionate about helping everyone find their own limitless potential.

Burro

We’ve built a smarter farming system using user-friendly, autonomous robots that work side-by-side (farmworkers to make agriculture more productive and sustainable. Each Burro increases the productivity of a 6 to 10 person harvest-crew by 10% to 40%+ while simultaneously laying the base for more autonomy where it is needed most.
