With an emphasis on helping those struggling with mental health issues, Tombot intends on Jennie becoming the first robotic puppy to be an FDA-registered medical device

Tombot has announced that it will be revealing its next generation of lifelike robotic pets at next year’s CES in Las Vegas. Jennie, its upcoming fully-autonomous Labrador Retriever puppy robot was created with the intention of bringing comfort and support to not only children, but seniors and adults struggling with dementia, mild cognitive impairment, or other mental health challenges.

Jennie features artistic design by Jim Henson’s Creature Shop, to which Tombot attributes the robot puppy’s lifelike appearance, feel, and behaviors. The upcoming companion has received over 7,000 pre-orders and waitlist reservations, which are scheduled to be delivered beginning in 2025. Tombot intends Jennie for individual or group use in homes, hospitals, assisted living, and skilled nursing facilities, and aims to be the first robotic puppy to be an FDA-registered medical device.

CES 2025 guests will be able to visit Jennie firsthand at Venetian Hall G, Eureka Park, Booth #62034. Tombot will exhibit at CES Unveiled, which takes place Sunday, January 5, from 5:00 until 8:30 p.m. at the Mandalay Bay Hotel. Tombot will also host a Power Session media briefing on January 6, from 2pm to 3pm at the Mandalay Bay Hotel.
