MassRobotics Women in Robotics
We recognize it’s important to encourage women in robotics and MassRobotics has several initiatives to support and celebrate women’s achievements in the field.
“MassRobotics Women” recognizes these differences and we are making it our mission to promote inclusion through events, workshops and networking.
THANK YOU TO ALL THE FEMALE TECHNICAL VOLUNTEERS & MENTORS WHO VOLUNTEERED FOR SKILLS TRAINING AND CAREER SUPPORT FOR OUR HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS JUMPSTART PROGRAM
MassRobotics Girls High School Jumpstart Program trains girls in technical skills needed for robotics and tech internships. Our volunteers helped from January – May during skills training and career support sessions.
- Volunteers help with sessions in Solidworks, Electronics, Programming, Simulation, 3D printing and fabrication on Saturdays, in-person at MassRobotics or the NERVE Center at UMass Lowell.
- Mentors aid with networking skills and career support and commit personal time for on-site visits. Please fill out this google form to share your area of expertise and we’ll contact you with dates/times we could use your experience.
wOMEN IN rOBOTICS Boston Chapter
Women in Robotics is a global community supporting women who work in robotics and women who are interested in working in robotics, as entrepreneurs, industry and academia. Our activities include local networking events, outreach, education, mentoring and the promotion of positive role models in robotics, both in research, industry, entrepreneurship and just plain fun. Learn more here.
MassRobotics Women and Women in Robotics Boston Chapter have joined to strengthen the robotics, AI and technology-focused female community.
By bringing together these communities, we are creating, curating, and developing a powerful network of women in technology and robotics that includes industry leaders, entry-, mid-and senior-level employees and academia.
